















So its been a little over a week since I last blogged my meals….and boy has it thrown me a loop. Writing this stuff down everyday and knowing that people can see what I’m eating has really kept me in line. Granted I’ve ventured here and there, but for the most part, its helped. After not doing it…I can see how far I strayed.
I went to Vegas to celebrate with my girls’ an amazing bachelorette party. And my diet didn’t stray too bad (didn’t hurt the bachelorette is an amazing fitness instructor). I did eat Chick-Fil-A at the airport only because it was either eat or starve for the next 4.5 hours on the plane to Vegas. Yes I could have gotten a grilled chicken sandwich, but since I hadn’t eaten in 6 hours, I was starving and chose poorly.
That was pretty much the behavior of the rest of the week leading up till now. I haven’t been eating consistently so when I do eat, surprise surprise, I’m eating a caloric time bomb.
Another thing….when one drinks, one generally wants greasy food. This was what killed me the past week. Had I just eaten clean, I probably wouldn’t have been too far over. And since I’ve been about 1000 calories in the hole for the past several weeks, I could have afforded it. But I drank about 1000 calories a night PLUS ate terrible = waaaaay over my caloric limit.
And I’m not even going to get into the carb/protein ratio. Needless to say that went down the tubes.
Technically this is my last real week of the 10 week Challenge and I hate that I sabotaged it right at the end. I’m actually pretty mad at myself about it, but what am I gonna do about the past? So just need to eat clean now and exercise a little bit harder to make up for the past week.
Also, I’ve bought some time since my photoshoot isn’t going to be until July or August most likely due to my schedule for travel of work/play and the photographer’s. (Thank God).
I’m trying to not beat myself up so hard due to the fact I’ve at least lost 7 lbs, but I hated that I fell through towards the end. Its the weekends, they get me every time. But what can I say…I like to party?
